The few main issues are: Students are afraid of not being accepted for who they are, as well, they can’t keep up with other students, or simply because students can’t cope with some of the standards that are offered within their learning community. An alternative to the mainstream school is Argyle Alternative High School. Where ever student is treated with equal respect along with others. While given the opportunity to succeed.

One of the best qualities of Argyle Alternative, is that they have a co-operative, steady set of teachers that have great communication skills with each other that benefit us as “Argylians” in more than one way. Each person if offered equal opportunity and is treated with the same respect that we would give in return. As well as being able to walk down Argyle hallways with our heads high, knowing that every student and teacher will look at you like any human being should, no matter what someone has done in their past. If they’re accepted into Argyle, they are not judged upon what their past has brought to them. This being said each student has an easier opportunity to graduate.

Many students have been attending regular High School classes for a while, and just want to graduate as soon as they possible can. In. this case, Argyle has an amazing program, called the “mature student program”, offered to any student 19 and older, who is willing to put their mind into graduating. With this program, they reduce the amount of credits you need, to do in order to graduate quicker. It may sound like it’s something you can do over night, but this does take a great amount of effort, flexibility, and a supportive community. It will be a tough run, but in the end, it is all worth it. Not only can you prove to yourself that you can succeed, but as well the people who care about you. So if you fit the age requirements for this program, and you’re willing to work a hard workload. The mature student program is defiantly for you, along with the lenient opportunity offered to you as you go about doing what you need to do.

Lastly, one of the main attraction of attending Argyle, would be that every student is offered a large amount of flexibility. Better known as “Freedom”. From experience, I have discovered that more students are showing up to their classes on a regular basis. The purpose of this, is that we are treated like adults. We call our teachers by their first names, and there is no one to hold you down to stay in the classroom. We are free to leave if need be, it is highly suggested that we take in the amount of class time that we have to get as much help as possible. With this said, students can pick up their work and leave whenever they must. Also, having this type of opportunity may encourage students to keep a part-time job, along with keeping up with their acedemics. This school is given major credit for the flexibility and tolerence thet they do have.

To make this short and simple, this school is for students who actually want to take innitiative for what they want to do in life. They are able to do so in a safe and friendly community. There is no reason that any student to not graduate with such opportunity. Most Students do succeed at Arygle. Some quicker than others. Each student who does graduate is offered many scholorship oppertunities as well as being able to be proud to have graduated in such an amazing school environment. In order to succeed properly with people who actually take the time to care about you, Argyle is the place to be. So take your time, work at your own pace, no one is being judged, it IS NOT a contest!.
