Hand Pollination of Strawberry Blossoms

Since we aren’t able to depend on honeybees to pollinate our strawberry blossoms, we needed to hand pollinate.  To do this, we simply brushed the blossoms just after they opened, transferring some of the pollen from the stamens to the pistils.

The female part of the flower made up of four parts.
